We are a member of VetSalus, which has links to VetSustain whose Greener Practice Checklist we are committed to working through.

Initiatives to date include:

Royal Canin packaging recycling

Installed at Pukekohe, our largest clinic, we have a Terracycle recycling bin for all Royal Canin bag packaging. This has been extremely popular with clients and our team alike and we now plan is to roll it out to our other clinics.

teatseal recycling

Recycling Zoetis products - keeping plastic waste out of landfill

  • Teatseal packaging recycling programme - the teatseal tubes go to Future Post in the Waikato, who use waste plastic to produce 100% recyclable, premium plastic fencing products that are stronger and perform better than their wooden counterparts. Visit for more info
  • Livestock Vaccinations - vaccine packs are collected at clinics, then picked up from a central location by Plasback NZ (who provide the logistics for both these programmes) & delivered to Futurepost.
