Abby Aide - Branch Manager

Abby joined our Beachlands clinic at the end of 2022 as our Branch Manager. Before that, she worked at our Pukekohe Clinic as the Customer Service Team Leader, and prior to that she spent a decade working in animal welfare both here and in Australia. Abby's whole career has been animal-focused; she knew her job had to involve animals from a very early age, and she drove her parents crazy trying to take home every stray she found.

Abby has a strong interest in the emotional state of our patients, and the fear and anxiety our pets feel when visiting the clinic. She is passionate about reducing their stress and making the experience as smooth as possible for the patient and the owner. She can't pick one single thing she loves the most about her role - it's a combination of her team, our patients, and our amazing clients. The location is up there with her favourite things about her job, she loves working on the Pohutukawa Coast, and our beautiful coastline and small community remind her of the Australian town she grew up in. Abby is incredibly proud of her team, and the patient advocates that they are every single day.

Abby has a dog named Kramer and a cat named Pez at home. You are likely to see Kramer in the clinic sitting by her desk most days. Outside of work, you will probably find Abby at the beach, where she enjoys swimming, running, and surfing and tries to spend as much time soaking up the sun as she possibly can.
