Dr Sujata has been part of our Beachlands team since 2021, prior to this she worked as a locum with Ellerslie Vets and Pet Doctors in Howick. She knew from a very early age that she wanted to be a vet. Her favourite thing about her job is that every day brings new challenges and surprises - some good and some not so good. She enjoys the variation in her role and thinks she wouldn’t get fulfilment if every day was the same. She has a special interest in ophthalmology (eyes) and enjoys learning more in this area when she can. Sujata feels lucky to be working with such a friendly and lovely team, and the team loves working with her as well!

She loves the clients out at Beachlands and always focuses on building relationships with them so they feel they can trust us with their fur babies. Of course, she also loves our patients and animal cuddles always make her day.

Outside of work, Sujata likes to go on walks, travel, paint, and draw - she truly is an amazing artist! Sujata has a very cheeky dog at home named Zelda.

You can find Sujata at the Beachlands Clinic on Mondays and Thursdays.
