David started with Franklin Vets in 1997, has a broad background in veterinary services and became a shareholder/director of the company in 2003. David has an established and growing consulting clientele dealing with herd health, nutrition, farm systems and sustainability issues as well as overseeing various research projects.

David is a tutor on NZ’s Advanced Mastitis Course and contributes regularly in various veterinary education forums. David’s time is split between our Pukekohe and Te Kauwhata clinics.

Outside of the job he spends a lot of time with family and church activities enjoying music, sailing, travelling and water sports.
