Ilyse joined Franklin Vets at the end of 2010 as a farm vet in Pukekohe and now leads the Waitakaruru branch of Franklin Vets. She is passionate about preventative dairy herd health and working closely with farmers to achieve their goals and improve performance. Ilyse is an InCalf adviser, an accredited mastitis advisor, an accredited BCS assessor, and a member of the cattle chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists and an associate member of the NZIPIM.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors and music.
