Kris is the lead vet for Taupiri and the regional manager for the southern part of Franklin Vets. She has been vetting since 1995 but still enjoys dairy vetting with a special interest in planned animal health programs. Kris enjoys working with farmers and their staff to improve farm problems. She likes seeing the difference that can be achieved and is getting more interested every day in how farmers can use benchmarking programs such as WelFarm to identify areas to focus on for their farm.

Kris works school hours as she has two pre-teen children who make her fit all their hobbies in after school. At present, she is seen at soccer fields, rugby fields and ponyclub.
