We know how important animals are to our lifestyle farmers and we are committed to working with you to establish a programme of preventative care for them. There is nothing more distressing for you than having to make an emergency call to our vets for something that could easily have been prevented.

Our lifestyle vets provide a complete range of services to ensure the health and well-being of your animals. We will regularly contact you to check their progress following treatments.

• Both on-farm & in-clinic consultations

• Diagnostic procedures such as Xray & Ultrasound
• Hospitalization for appropriate cases
• Poultry services, including flock care, treatments, surgeries & hospitalisation
• Preventative health care plans & advice
• Referral veterinary care 
• Routine health care such as vaccinations, drenching & foot trimming

While our lifestyle block vets are not specialists, they each have particular skill-sets, passions and experience in the above areas with small ruminants, pigs and poultry.

They frequently receive referral cases, both from within the wider Franklin Vets team as well as other clinics.
