Vet Nurse - Paeroa

Franklin Vets is a well-established veterinary practice with 12 clinics and a presence across South Auckland, North Waikato, Thames, and Coromandel districts.

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, diploma qualified Vet Nurse to join our Paeroa team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.

What you’ll do:

• Carry out veterinary nurse procedures under the guidance of our veterinarians
• Assist with surgical procedures and monitor anaesthesia
• Manage the admission and discharge of patients
• Conduct veterinary nurse consultations
• Customer service – answering phones, scheduling appointments, retail sales, managing customer requests

We are looking for:

• A motivated vet nurse with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and at least two years experience, ready to make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.
• A team player with exceptional customer service skills and a willingness to be flexible.
