Vet Nurse - Pukekohe

Franklin Vets is a progressive, locally owned practice with 15 clinics across South Auckland, North Waikato, Thames, and the Coromandel, with all 22 of our shareholders working in the business.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our BESTPRACTICE-accredited Pukekohe clinic.

About You

You’re a qualified Vet Nurse (Diploma in Veterinary Nursing) who’s passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and client service. You bring:

A positive, professional attitude
The ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced clinical environment
Confidence with surgical, medical, and critical care nursing
A team-focused approach and strong communication skills.

About the Role

As part of a supportive and collaborative team of veterinarians, nurses, and customer service staff, you’ll work in a dynamic environment with a busy surgical and critical care caseload. Your role will include:

General and surgical nursing
Anaesthetic monitoring
Inpatient care and nurse consults
Patient admissions and discharges.

We’re fully equipped with IDEXX in-house lab gear, ultrasound and digital x-ray. Weekend shifts are rostered and shared within the team.
