Dr Emma has been working at Franklin Vets since August 2021, she is usually at our Papakura or Karaka clinics, but you will find her at our Beachlands clinic every Friday. Before joining the Franklin Vets team, she worked at a mixed practice in Thames. She has always wanted to be a vet. When she was 6 years old she was asked what she wanted to do when she was older and her answer was animal doctor! Her favourite thing about her job is seeing how her care can help her patients and even if in a small way, she can make their life better. Emma loves working out at Beachlands and finds the team is supportive, kind and always willing to help each other. She also loves the location and tries to get out the clinic for a swim every Friday.

She has a rescue demon (cat) called Luci-fur. Outside of work, she loves to go scuba diving and spend weekends away having adventures in her van (Miss Kermit).
