Paul graduated in 1989 from Edinburgh and worked in a variety of practices in the UK, before moving to New Zealand in 1997. He is now a Director of Franklin Vets (based at Pukekohe) where his main interests are in surgery, particularly orthopaedics, and he enjoys mucking about with lame dogs.

Paul also holds Membership of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Surgery and Emergency Medicine and Critical Care.
